We had a great time last weekend at our friends Joe and Jill’s daughter Natalie’s 1st birthday celebration held at the Grey Forest Park. It was a beautiful day with lots of love flowing and wildflowers appearing all around. Happy Birthday Natalie! My best to you guys.

WOW, this belly is getting so big! So, in an effort to keep our friends and family connected to the progress and excitement we’re experiencing, I will be posting weekly shots of Kris’s belly as it grows and grows. Kris has been doing fantastic and her craving last week was pizza- my favorite!

Bandera 100K UltraMarathon

The Bandera 100K is an annual trail race that takes place at Hill Country State Natural Area, just outside of Bandera Texas. It’s a race, that personally I’ve been wanting to run (25k or 50k) for a few years now. The new year just always seems to find me out of racing shape. Anyways, it’s an absolutely beautiful course that takes place in the rugged limestone hills of the Texas Hill Country. The trail running souls competing in the 100K braved below freezing temperatures for the majority of the race. I planned on staying the entirety of the race, although only stayed a few hours. Below are a few of my favorites… the last image is of last years race (along Three Sisters Descent)
